Wùo Taï is an osteopathic dance: a fluid, embodied practice that brings together osteopathy, fascia work and dance.
Practised two people at a time, on the floor, it uses gentle elliptical movements, joint mobilisation and subtle connections through the body. Rather than forcing or correcting, we listen, follow and allow the movement to unfold.
Created by French osteopath Roland Combes and developed together with Nathalie Combes, Wùo Taï emerged from the meeting of osteopathy, yoga, Eastern body practices and dance. Its 64 fundamental gestures draw inspiration from the I Ching and bring together anatomy, embryology, physiology and the art of movement.
At its heart is a simple principle:
to receive what we give,
and to give what we receive.
Wùo Taï invites us to move beyond thinking and into sensing — discovering a dialogue between two bodies, where touch, movement and presence become a shared dance.
A practice of movement, connection and curiosity.
